Mid-Year Book Freak Out

Hello! Today I decided I would do the Mid-Year Book Freak Out tag. There are so many BookTubers that do this, so I decided to go ahead and give it a shot.

I’m not sure who originally started this but I think it’s been around for a few years.

Best book you’ve read so far in 2019

This is a tough one, I have eight 5 star books so far. Taking out the re-reads, that’s about six 5 stars, and that didn’t make the decision any easier.

I think I’m going to have to go with On the Edge of Gone by Corinne Duyvis. If you want to see my review click here!

Weekly Update (6-17-19)

Hello, Hello! This post is a bit late today, but my niece has been at my house today and then I took a pretty long nap. I need to start writing these out on the day before, then I wouldn’t have this problem.

Let’s just go ahead and get into the update before I start rambling.

I finished 2 books this past week, they were

I also read ~ 161 pages of The Knife of Never Letting Go. [as of 21:50 Monday i’m 182 pages in!]

The X-Files Book Tag

I’m so excited to do this tag guys! I found it on the Book Princess Reviews, and if you want to see Mandy’s original check it out here. Let me start off by saying I haven’t finished the whole series of X-files [mainly because I need to get the movies first so I can watch it all in the correct order] but it is my favourite show. Mulder is probably my favourite fictional character EVER! I’m not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do the tag please do and comment your link down below so I can check it out!

The Rules:

  • Take out your fake FBI badge and answer the questions
  • You can link back to Book Princess Reviews (aka pingback to here) if you wish, so I can fangirl all over your posts
  • Keep the alien love alive possibly and tag any and all X-Files fans you know…or just other people – either or?

Fox is known to have some “out there” beliefs, so name a book that you believe in despite everyone/ratings/reviews tell you perhaps isn’t that great

This is a hard one. I think I’d have to say The 5th Wave though, I’ve read the first book twice and the other 2 books just once. But I love this book so much and I do see reviews out there where people hate it and say it’s boring and some other things, but it remains one of my favourite books!Read More »

Weekly Update (6-10-19) [aka Biblio Games Update]

Welcome back to Monday, and another Weekly Update. Today we’ll be talking about the books I’ve read since last Monday, some fun things I did this week, and some posts to look forward to in the upcoming week.

So, Last week I finished 6 books.

First I finished The Selection on the 3rd, I gave this one 4.5 stars. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I did, though the names in the book are not great, I do plan on continuing the series and have already put the second book on hold through my library. After finishing this I started Wastelands, and what I’ve read so far is pretty good, I’ve only read the first 2 stories but I’m liking it.

Then, on the 4th I read The Math Kids: A Sequence of Events. This was one of my NetGalley reads, and I gave it 4 stars just like I did the first book. If you want to see my review, click here.

Weekly Update (6-3-19)

Hey! Welcome to June. I can’t believe we’re already halfway through 2019.

It’s time, now for another weekly update! This time I’ll be telling you about my reading last week, some upcoming reading plans for the Biblio Games AND a few blog posts to look forward to in the next week!

So, I didn’t finish any books in the past week. I haven’t even really read all that much. I read about 99 more pages of Gemina before I had to take it back to the library because someone else had it on hold. Then I didn’t read anything until the first of June.

May Best of the Bunch

Best of the Bunch is a monthly linkup where we can share the best books we read each month and award one of them “Best of the Bunch.” This blog hop originated at Lyrical Reviews and then moved over to Always Lost in Stories. At the end of 2014, hosting was handed over to A Cocoon of Books

How is it already the end of May?!

I’ll let you know early that this’ll be a short post as I only read one book in May.

It was an amazing book, though!

The Book Thief botb

I finished this on the 21st and still don’t think I have the words to properly review it. I was hesitant to start it though because it’s a huge book and historical fiction, which i don’t usually read. But I think listening to it with audio as well helped me. If you haven’t yet read this, I do recommend it!

That’s going to be it for now, hope you had a good May!

Happy Reading,

Hello, Hello. Welcome to June. Today I’ll share with you what I’ll be reading/reviewing for the month of June.

I didn’t get any votes on the poll that I put up for this month so I’m going to choose which book I review. I’m going to go ahead and wait until I read one of them to decide, but I will most likely review Into the Drowning Deep because I have wished that I did it right after finishing it. As I said in the last post I have a lot of notes from when I read it the first time, so I’m excited to share some of it with you!

Happy Reading,
